My Approach
I believe that if the musical experience is inspiring and well structured, students will progress with ease. My focus is on building a strong musical foundation and sharing material that promotes our rich musical heritage. ​Living Arts lesson plans are carefully designed to develop technical and analytical skills, while also engaging the imagination. Music education is not only an amazing tool for cognitive development, it also fosters confidence and helps develop the language of beauty and emotion that goes beyond words.

Living Arts Music Studio is a dynamic learning place. Karma Sohn has
extensive experience as a teacher and performer, specializing in piano, voice,
theory and songwriting. Living Arts Programs are designed to guide students
through fundamentals from a perspective of musical-cognitive development,
with flexibility to accommodate students' interests and learning styles.
